The Sisters of the Holy Rosary continue to live out their mission of love, care and compassion through dedicated service to communities in need.
In Karonga Diocese, Sr. Florence Msowoya and Sr. Rita Matanje serving at St. Annie’s Community Hospital are touching many lives through their commitment to healthcare ministry. At the hospital, Sr. Florence Msowoya, Sister in-charge at St. Annie’s community Hospital, provides medical attention and emotional support to patients, especially mothers and children who require special care. Through her dedication, many people experience not only physical healing but also comfort, hope and encouragement during difficult moments of illness. Her compassionate care reflects the healing ministry of Christ and the mission of the Sisters of the Holy Rosary to serve humanity with love and dignity.

In the same spirit of service, Sr. Rita Matanje is actively involved in promoting community health and preventive care. Apart from offering treatment and medical attention to children at the hospital , she also visits schools to conduct health sensitization sessions on hygiene, sanitation and the prevention of common diseases. Through health education and practical care, Sr. Rita empowers young learners and communities with knowledge that promotes healthy living and disease prevention.

Together, the two sisters demonstrate the holistic mission of the Church through health ministry by caring for both physical and spiritual wellbeing of the people they serve. Their ministry continues to bring hope, healing and compassion to vulnerable communities in Karonga Diocese.
Through ministries in health, education , pastoral and social services, the Sisters of the Holy Rosary remain committed to proclaiming the Kingdom of God through acts of love, mercy and selfless service.
