Sisters of the Holy Rosary Congregation: Welcomes Three New Prepostulants

Sisters of the Holy Rosary, July 3, 2024 – The Sisters of the Holy Rosary Congregation is filled with gratitude and joy as it welcomes three young women into its Prepostulate program. This significant step marks the beginning of their journey in religious life, dedicated to service and spiritual growth.

The new prepostulants, whose names are being celebrated within the community, were warmly received in a special ceremony held at the Rumphi formation house Chapel. The event was attended by members of the congregation and friends, who gathered to offer their support and prayers.

Sr. Bernadette Munyenyembe, the Superior General of the Congregation, expressed her heartfelt gratitude to God for blessing the community with the presence of these three dedicated young women. “We are deeply thankful for the courage and commitment shown by our new prepostulants. Their decision to join us in this journey of faith is a testament to the enduring call of God in their lives,” she said.

The Prepostulate is the initial stage of formation in the Sisters of the Holy Rosary Congregation, providing a foundation for the young women to deepen their understanding of religious life, community living, and service to others. Over the coming months, the prepostulants will engage in various spiritual and educational activities, guided by experienced members of the congregation.

“Our Prepostulate program is designed to nurture and support the spiritual growth of each individual. We strive to create an environment where they can discern their vocation and develop a strong relationship with God,” explained Sister Christina Banda, Incharge of Formation.

As the Congregation continues to celebrate this joyous occasion, they extend an invitation to all to join them in prayer for the new prepostulants. “We ask for the continued prayers and support of our extended community as these young women embark on this sacred journey. May they be blessed with strength, wisdom, and unwavering faith,” Sr. Bernadette Munyenyembe added.
