Sisters of the Holy Rosary, Mountrosa, Malawi – The Rosarian Sisters, a Catholic congregation, have opened an Elderly Sisters Home at Mountrosa to provide care and support for elderly and sick sisters who have dedicated their lives to serving the Church and society for over 50 years as religious.
The home, which is located in a tranquil and serene environment, will provide a comfortable and safe living space for the elderly sisters, who may require special care and attention. The facility includes a chapel, where the sisters can attend mass, do their prayer, praying for the needs of the church and society and receive spiritual support.
According to Sister Devota Gama, the home’s administrator, the Rosarian Sisters recognize the tremendous contribution that elderly sisters have made to the Church and society, and it is only fitting that they receive the care and support they need in their old age. “These sisters have given so much of themselves to others throughout their lives, and it is our duty to ensure that they receive the care and support they deserve in their old age. We are committed to providing a home where they can live with dignity, respect, and comfort.”
