NEW HEADTEACHER AT KATETE GIRLS PRIMARY SCHOOL

Katete Girls Primary School has welcomed a new headteacher, Sr. Suzanne Mwasangwale, following the passing of the late Sr. Elizabeth Sezi in February 2026.

The handover ceremony was conducted successfully by Sr. Clementina Madalitso Phiri, Educational Councillor, in the presence of the Deputy Headteacher, Mr. Nkhambule. Sr. Ruth Ghambi, General Bursar, Sr. Agnes Ng’ona, local superior, served as a witnesses during the handover ceremony.

In her remarks, Sr. Suzanne Mwasangwale expressed gratitude for the warm reception and pledged to work diligently with the staff, learners, parents and all stakeholders to promote academic excellence, discipline, and holistic development at the school. She also acknowledged the valuable contributions made by the late Sr. Elizabeth Sezi and committed herself to continuing the strong foundation that had been established.

Speaking during the handover ceremony, Deputy Headteacher Mr Nkhambule welcomed Sr. Suzanne Mwasangwale and assured her of cooperation and support from members of staff.

He also appreciated the dedication and leadership demonstrated by the late Sr. Elizabeth Sezi during her service to the school community.

 

May the soul of Sr. Elizabeth Sezi continue to rest in eternal peace.
