The Sisters of the Holy Rosary recently convened in Mzuzu to review their original “charism” and evaluate whether their current practices remain aligned with it. As part of this discernment exercise, every sister and community under the institute will participate in the exercise with their perspectives through a questionnaire.
This review follows a directive from the Local Bishops requiring all locally founded religious institutes to revisit the original charism of their founders. The goal is to ensure that their contemporary religious life remains faithful to its original charism.
The review exercise needs resources to be completed successfully, and the Sisters are appealing for any contributions.
