Rosarian Sisters Prepare for 10th General Chapter Sessions on Living Prophetically
The Rosarian Sisters are gearing up for their 10th General Chapter with Sessions, which will focused on the theme, "A Family Committed to Live Prophetically the Gospel Values." The sessions were designed to deepen the understanding of the elements in the theme, including family, living, prophetic witness, and gospel values. The sisters also evaluated the past six years and look into the next six years to determine how best to live out their theme according to the signs of the times.
The sessions, which were held in three groups from 10th to 24th April 2023, were facilitated by Rev. Father Joseph Kimu of Radio Maria in the Mangochi Diocese. The aim of the sessions was to help the sisters gain a deeper understanding of the theme and to prepare them for the upcoming General Chapter.
Sister Fransisca Moyo, the Chairperson of the Planning Committee for the General Chapter, said that the sessions were a great success, and the sisters gained a deeper understanding of the theme. "We are grateful for the support of Father Kimu and the participation of all the sisters in the sessions. The discussions were lively, and we gained a deeper understanding of the theme, which will help us prepare for the General Chapter."
The 10th General Chapter Sessions are an important event for the Rosarian Sisters, as they help to shape the future of the congregation. The sessions provide an opportunity for the sisters to reflect on their mission, vision, and values and to determine how best to live out their commitment to the gospel and to the people they serve.
"We are looking forward to the General Chapter, where we will come together as a family to discern the will of God for our congregation and to determine how best to live out our mission in the world," said Sister Theresa Msukwa.
The Rosarian Sisters are committed to living prophetically the gospel values, and the 10th General Chapter Sessions will help them to deepen their understanding of this commitment and to chart a course for the future.
